Home Page
Our dynamic writer/editor team edits novels, novellas, and short stories.  Our goal is to help you produce a manuscript worth self-publishing or showing to an industry professional (agent/editor/publisher) by providing you edits with an easy-to-read critique style.  We cannot guarantee the success of your manuscript.  Also, we will not rewrite your book or story for you - that would be co-authoring.  Our job is to tell you what works in your manuscript, point out weaknesses, and suggest how to make improvements.  YOUR SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS.

We edit for everything except:
1.  Technical accuracy within your characters' specialized employment
2.  Historical accuracy (though obvious anachronisms may be questioned)

Our edits are fully comprehensive.
First we comment on your overall story elements.
We follow that with a detailed, line-by-line edit.
Our purpose is to provide you with maximum input.

All serious writers should have access to:
The Chicago Manual of Style (most recent edition)
The Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (most recent edition)
A thesaurus of your choice

We understand that most writers work under a restricted budget.  Unlike other online editing services that try to hook you with a sample edit then charge you an exorbitant fee, we tell you, on page one of our website, that we charge $2.00 per page.  We require payment before work can begin, but we will prepare a sample edit on your work by your request.  We will not ask for this fee until we are ready to start on your manuscript, at which time you will be notified by e-mail.  You may cancel your request for edit as a reply to the notification e-mail or as a separate e-mail.  Please follow the instructions on the submission page for recalling your request.
